身障團體抗議　要求桃園縣府拆除路阻

台灣障礙者權益促進會、桃園縣肢體傷殘協進會等30多名身障人士，今天上午到桃園縣文化局前抗議，呼籲縣府拆除路阻，還給身障人士、輪椅族一個安全的活動空間，要求縣長吳志揚全面清查路阻，限期拆除，如此符合直轄市的水準。
 
抗議的民眾指出，桃園今年即將升格為直轄市，但許多路阻，造成電動輪椅、視障者、推嬰兒的家長，或是拄著柺杖的老人，被迫走到馬路上，與汽機車爭道，險象環生，甚至發生車禍，嚴重影響安全。因此，他們呼籲縣府制訂規範，公園、人行道等，必須設置無障礙設施，並儘速執行。
 
身障者也彙整桃園縣境內大湳公園、縣府後方公園、楊梅市新農街中山親水公園，以及中壢元化路老人會館與圖書館等近30處路阻地點，要求政府儘速拆除外，也希望相關單位嚴格取締。（石明啟／桃園報導）
