想送女兒去美國留學(住宿學校)，能不透過代辦去美國留學嗎?

我姪女之前是透過學校去美國留學，因為他們學校有跟美國簽姊妹校，所以沒有透過代辦，學校就可以直接處理去美國留學事宜，所以你可以問看看學校有沒有類似的管道可以幫忙。

但是你說英文水平普通的問題我反而覺得需要重視，很多人都抱著去國外學英文比較快的想法而去美國留學，如果英文很差的話我還是建議先在台灣學好在去美國留學，不然先去語言學校也很麻煩也是一筆花費，而且美國和台灣的教育方式很不一樣，台灣菁英的教育方法讓孩子沒有辦法思考創造，因為都是死記東西，但是去美國留學就要學會發揮創意和多方面思考，所以很多學生一開始到美國留學都很難適應，而且壓力很大。如果你希望小孩去美國留學，那我會建議先把孩子送到國際學校，這樣他可以先在台灣學習到美國留學教育體制，也可以學好英文，到美國留學也不會不適應，你可以去台灣復臨國際學校看看，http://www.tais.tw/，裡面有一些學生的課表和生活狀況，給你參考了。
