身亡槍手身份出爐　34歲德州人

【綜合報導】身亡的槍手身份證實為現年34歲，來自德州的艾隆艾力克斯(Aaron Alexis)，近來以約聘人員身份進入軍方工作，據美聯社報導指出艾力克斯有過犯罪紀錄，並持有秘密持槍許可證，艾力克斯應是利用他人的許可證進入海軍工廠，但不確定這個他人是否為共犯，或是許可證遭竊。
 
另外，參議院大樓也在槍擊案後，宣布關閉2小時，不允許任何人進出。
