北宜鐵直穿水庫集水區　北台水質恐陷黑暗期

【陳亮諭／綜合報導】行政院前年11月核准北宜直線鐵路案，斥資500億元，估台北到宜蘭鐵路行車時間縮短成只要37到47分鐘，但傳出該工程可能直穿翡翠水庫集水區，若開挖，北台恐陷15年水質黑暗期。

今日出版的《自由時報》報導，台北至宜蘭以現行北迴鐵路，繞行東北角約100公里，搭乘自強號約80至100分鐘。交通部最近提出3路線 方案，其中2方案預估可節省28分鐘以上車程，但都穿越翡翠水庫集水區，若定案開挖，鐵道工程將造成15年水庫水質黑暗期。交通部鐵工局今天將召開說明會，說明路廊規劃情況並蒐集民意。鐵工局長周永暉說，最快明年3月、最慢6月，再開一次公開說明會，明年底前完成地質調查及環評後，傾聽各界意見，才會決定路線向交通部核備，再報行政院。
