為籌學費，北台南家扶中心15日起2天，在新營、白河、佳里、學甲、善化、永康、歸仁等7個郵局，舉辦跳蚤市場愛心義賣活動，籲請社會善心人士踴躍支持此項教育脫貧行動。

北台南家扶中心扶幼委員蔡育輝表示，每年2期的助學金約需1300萬元，每學期650萬，截至目前為止，僅籌到310萬元。北台南家扶中心計劃在暑假舉辦14場「跳蚤市場、愛心義賣」活動，盼望藉由小錢來成就大愛工程。

為了準備義賣活動，家扶中心社工人員連日來積極勸募與整理善心人士捐贈的用品，計有文具、日常用品、萬能工具組合、小家電等超過500件，價位也僅30元至100元不等。

義賣現場可說愛心無限，有的民眾直接捐款或不找零，令參與義賣學生十分感動。愛心農夫吳文輝也準備有機椿農筍及邀集其他同道捐贈豆芽菜、芭樂等情義相挺。
