嘉義市藝術家侯榮傳紀念展

曾獲法國藝術家沙龍入選的嘉義市畫家侯榮傳，罹癌辭世，享壽80歲，市政府文化局今天起到24日在博物館舉辦紀念展，下午開幕茶會，侯榮傳家屬侯建安、女兒侯如芬出席，將父親2005年法國藝術家沙龍入圍作品「托雷多古都」捐贈給市政府，由市長黃敏惠代表接受，讓侯老師風骨與藝術永遠長存。

侯榮傳1956年台南師範藝術科畢業，奉獻教育40餘年，曾任教於中埔同仁國小、嘉市崇文國小，後擔任玉山國中美術教師兼訓導主任時，在訓育及美育績效卓著，榮獲杏壇最高榮譽「師鐸獎」。
