中榮金屬是台商獨資

據了解，昆山發生大爆炸的中榮金屬，是一家由台商獨資經營的企業，它的法定代表人為吳基滔，註冊資本880萬美元。

該公司員工共有450人，核心業務是電鍍鋁合金輪轂，主要客戶為美國GM，和其他美國售後市場的買家。

海基會副董事長馬紹章表示，目前依據上海的一位台資企業協會的副會長表示，中榮金榮是台商應該無誤，但由於資訊落差，目前還無法證實。

他表示，現場救援行動只能依賴當地的政府，如果中榮金屬日後涉及保險、理賠等善後行動，需要海基會協助，海基會將予以協助。

昆山的台商會長李邦欣中午接到記者電話，但他表示，協會已在了解情況，但他人不在昆山，而是在北部的徐州，所以對情況並不了解。
