台南市一間當舖上個月27日凌晨遭人開槍，嫌犯犯案後想借住在友人家，沒想到沒有人願意借，走投無路之下，終於在大年初一自行到派出所投案，嫌犯表示，與當鋪老闆認識很久，欠他30萬元，不滿他一直追討欠款，才會開槍報復。

警方調查後發現，嫌犯被一輛計程車載到案發地點，行凶完後又搭同輛車離去，警方在27日就追蹤到這輛計程車，並約談司機出面說明，但警方認為他的供詞避重就輕，於是向法院聲押獲准。

嫌犯也在上月31日主動向派出所投案，嫌犯供稱，因不滿當鋪老闆一直向他追討債款，竟到當鋪店面開18槍恐嚇，嫌犯事後想投靠友人卻遭到拒絕，不敢回家也不敢住旅館，只能天天睡在公園，像個流浪漢，因此主動自首。警方訊後依槍砲、恐嚇罪將嫌犯移送偵辦。
