威力彩盃少棒花蓮開打　冠軍獎金100萬元

【王覺一／台北報導】總獎金200萬元的台彩威力盃全國少棒賽將在12月12日在花蓮開打，共有16支縣市球隊參賽。冠軍球隊可獲100萬元，亞軍50萬元，季軍20萬元，第4名10萬元，5至8名各得5萬元，另參賽球隊也都可獲得3萬元補助。
 
台彩威力盃是由威力彩得主贊助的比賽。2011年12月，威力彩頭獎開出18.16億元獎金，由3位幸運得主平分，其中1位得主是花蓮人，而且從小就熱愛棒球，他捐出1.2億元成立基金會，每年拿出500萬元舉辦少棒賽，希望能振興花蓮基層棒球。
 
旅美球員陳俊秀與兄弟象投手陳鴻文都是花蓮出身的子弟兵，今天出席開打記者會。陳俊秀表示，花蓮過去比賽不多，比較大的比賽只有職棒球員舉辦的關懷盃，如果比賽多一點，可以增加小朋友交流的機會，當然是好事。陳俊秀赴美已6年，明年是小聯盟最後1年，他給自己訂下一定要升上大聯盟的目標。
