華夏技術學院　8月起改名科技大學

教育部今發布，新北市華夏技術學院自8月1日起改名科技大學，桃園創新技術學院申請改名需籌備1年。

教育部技職司副司長饒邦安表示，華夏申請改名後，經教育認定其校地、生師比、教師發表論文數等項目已達門檻，經1年籌備後，審議委員再至該校訪視，大多數認定已達到改名標準。

饒邦安表示，桃園創新技術學院去年提出申請，尚未完全符合改名科技大學條件，1年後審議委員將再前往學校訪視，待訪視結果決定是否可改名科技大學。

饒邦安說，改名後滿1年教育部會再訪視，滿2年辦理科技大學評鑑，評鑑結果不理想者，將依規定扣減獎補助款、扣減招生名額且不得調高學雜費。（陳威廷／台北報導）
