宏達電今年在高階手機市場靠著新One、蝴蝶機、蝴蝶S就在台灣創下百萬支以上，趕在年底旺季前，除在美國紐約時代廣場（Times Square）設置巨型廣告看板，大打形象之外，更與電信三雄合作，推出4款HTC Desire系列智慧手機，搶進中階手機市場。

宏達電27日與中華電、遠傳、台灣大等3家業者聯手推出4款HTC Desire系列智慧型手機，以更實惠的價格提供多元選擇，滿足各種不同需求，大陸區總裁暨北亞區總經理董俊良表示，「HTC Desire系列不僅擁有豐富的產品組合也廣受消費者的喜愛，以極平易近人的價格兼具潮流外型與精湛科技的內涵，成為消費者的超值首選」，在4款Desire系列智慧型手機推出後，今年產品全數到位。

宏達電指出，HTC Desire系列預計12月起全台陸續推出，HTC Desire 700 dual sim自12月起在中華電獨家開賣，單機建議售價為13900元,，搭配中華電「大省方案」，月付533元起、手機4990元。HTC Desire 601 dual sim自12月起遠傳獨家開賣，單機建議售價10900元，搭配遠傳指定方案，月付898元、手機3990元。

HTC Desire 501自12月起在中華電獨家開賣，單機建議售價為9900元，搭配中華電「大省方案」，月付533元起、手機1990元。HTC Desire 300即日起在台灣大獨家搶先開賣，單機建議售價為7900元，搭配台灣大指定方案，月付898元、手機990元。

董俊良指出，新One、蝴蝶機、蝴蝶S等3款手機今年在台灣市場銷售已突破百萬支，希望可以把成功的經驗帶入Desire系列手機市場。
