邱毅：中信買兄弟象　擬改名為「中信兄弟」

【何哲欣／台北報導】中華職棒兄弟象隊交易案，傳出由中信金脫穎而出，提供中信辜家諮詢意見的前立委邱毅今天證實，交易案已進入最後拍板階段，且中信方面認為，「兄弟」二字是最受球迷歡迎的資產，因此傾向保留，但又擔心叫「中信兄弟象」名字太長，因此可能會將球隊吉祥物改為人的造型，也就是「兄弟」，隊名就叫「中信兄弟」。
 
至於交易金額，邱毅不願意透露，只說開出的條件相當好，且因中信在傳出兄弟要出售的消息後就積極接觸，加上中信經營過職棒隊，兄弟洪家把球隊視為生命，才會希望承接的企業能熱愛兄弟隊，繼續保有優良傳統。
