台灣病人隱私保護不彰

「奇怪，保險公司怎麼拿得到我的病歷報告？」醫療改革機基金會表示，最近幾年來經常接到這類投訴案件，顯示國內仍有醫療院所違法洩漏病人隱私，主要原因在於各縣市衛生局對於違法的醫院及醫師「輕放」，罰責不痛不癢。

朱顯光指出，在醫病關係中，除了專業醫學領域的不平等外，病患隱私方面，病人也處於弱勢，因為大部分患者都不曉得自己就醫隱私是否遭違法揭露，除非有人告知，才知道權益受損。
