本報訊

中華民國駐薩爾瓦多大使李新穎於當地時間12日在中美洲統合體系秘書處，與薩觀光部長及中美洲觀光統合體系秘書處執行秘書，主持台灣協助「強化中美洲觀光推廣統合計畫」第二期捐贈儀式。

薩國觀光部長杜華德（Jose Napleon Duarte）、中美洲觀光統合體系（SICA）秘書處（SITCA）執行秘書康貝爾（Anasha Campbell）等致詞及簡報計畫時，感謝中華民國政府多年來協助中美洲區域統合進程及提供各領域合作計畫所作貢獻。

他們強調，中華民國是中美洲統合體系最重要的合作策略夥伴，透過本計畫，中美洲地區觀光產業大幅成長，到訪中美洲的國際觀光客與日俱增。他們也藉此機會代表中美洲各國觀光部長及旅遊業者向李新穎申致最誠摯謝意。

李新穎說，中美洲地區觀光資源豐富，深具發展潛力，觀光旅遊不僅為國家發展的策略產業，也是提升國家形象的重要環節，欣見SITCA透明有效執行此項合作計畫，符合中華民國援外目的正當、過程合法及執行有效3原則，已有效協調區域各國共同擬定中美洲觀光統合推廣策略，同時結合政府公部門與民間旅遊業者建立策略聯盟，成果豐碩。(中央社)
