55歲還能打 法蘭柯復出獨立聯盟

55歲當外公不稀奇，但55歲還能打職棒可就是新鮮事。

55歲能做什麼，大聯盟著名前老妖怪法蘭柯(Julio Franco)認為還能打職棒。生涯擁有眾多「最年長紀錄」的法蘭柯，決定復出曾告別6年的球員生涯，正式和獨立聯盟的沃斯堡貓隊(Fort Worth Cats)簽約，將在貓隊新球季開打的首輪主場系列賽中擔任球員兼教練。

法蘭柯在貓隊官網上表示，「我很興奮能夠成為沃斯堡隊的教練兼球員，與朋友和前遊騎兵的隊友們再次聚首，我非常期待能和年輕球員一起打球的機會，娛樂球迷。」

貓隊與法蘭柯的新球季將從台灣時間下周三於主場開打，首輪主場系列賽共有9場比賽，直到5月29日。

法蘭柯在23年的大聯盟曾3度入選明星賽，拿過1次打擊王，曾以48歲的年紀保有史上最年長擊出全壘打的紀錄。
