法新社報導，美國國務卿柯瑞16日在推特上發文，恭賀印度人民黨黨魁莫迪，他率領該黨在國會選舉中獲壓倒性勝利。柯瑞說：「恭喜莫迪及人民黨，期待與你們合作，我們期待與世界最大民主國家共創繁榮及安全。」
