0cc267716b4198cdb1bdad31c29a8813 Ubuntu 已經可以在 Nexus 裝置上執行並替換掉整個底層系統，但 Canonical 覺得這樣還不夠好玩，於是他們在聖誕節推出了「雙開機」的 UBUNTU 開發者預覽版，可以讓你選擇要使用 Ubuntu 開機或是 Android。

聖誕節感到寂寞覺得冷嗎？新玩具來了！Canonical 發佈了新版的 Ubuntu 開發者預覽 ROM，加入了雙開機 Ubuntu 以及 Android 的能力，不管是在 Android 或是 Ubuntu 底下都可以經由軟體來切換（重開機）到另外一個系統，但目前還不建議一般用戶（或是說，真的有一般用戶在玩 Ubuntu Touch 嗎？），釋出的還是一款開發者預覽的版本。

目前雙開機的 Android 可以自行替換成想要的版本（AOSP、Stock，或是 CyanogenMod 等等），目前支援的裝置為 Nexus4，其餘的 Nexus 裝置（Galaxy Nexus、Nexus7、Nexus10）也可以試試看，但 Canonical 表示只有對 Nexus4 有測試及調教過。
