50年失聯親戚　戶政事務所成功助尋親

【蔡亞樺／台北報導】台北市萬華戶政事務所表示，8月7日接獲一通民眾金先生打電話表示感謝，因萬華戶政事務所協助轉寄表哥夏先生尋找他的書信，讓他順利與表哥聯繫上，他們已經50多年沒有聯絡，沒想到在有生之年再相見。原來金先生與夏先生是表兄弟，倆人均出生於軍人世家，夏先生早年搬家去美國來不及通知金先生，交代鄰居代為轉告，金先生後來到夏先生家探訪均無人回應，詢問鄰居時，鄰居顧忌夏先生的軍人身分不願透露，金先生後來也搬家，倆人因此斷了聯絡。

戶所指出，6月來台灣觀光並順道探訪的夏先生，寫信希能尋找金先生的下落，以便再敘親情，並到萬華戶所透過協尋親友服務，戶所依據夏先生提供的線索，比對找到符合條件的金先生，將尋親的信件轉寄給當事人，請他自行考量是否與夏先生聯絡，金先生收到信件後欣喜萬分，立刻回電給夏先生，讓斷線的親情再次連結起來。
