角力落敗？ 僑委會：以自由、民主價值爭取僑界認同

台灣與大陸在海外僑界的政治角力，已有越來越衰退的情形，僑委會委員長陳士魁今（3）日在立法院表示，雖然我方無法與大陸比拼經濟實力或故鄉人情，卻卻擁有自由、民主及人權等價值，僑委會將用這些理念積極爭取僑胞認同。

對於立委質疑海外僑胞對國家認同的問題越來越明顯，像是在美國舊金山的中華總會館停辦雙十國慶慶典活動，僑居印尼的藝人白嘉莉日前也參加中國大陸十一國慶相關活動，對於海外僑界立場出現轉變，僑委會有何因應對策？

僑委會委員長陳士魁答詢說，對於中華總會館停辦雙十國慶慶典活動只能表示尊重，但舊金山的雙十國慶升旗與遊行活動仍會照常舉辦；陳士魁表示，對於傳統僑社，我們一再堅持的重點，是以理念來說服，因為如果要比錢或比人，台灣都沒辦法與大陸競爭，但我們講的是自由、民主與人權。
