蔣偉文在台視《結婚好嗎？》演個軟弱媽寶，很傳神，路人問他：「你媽媽怎麼那麼討厭？怎麼這樣對你老婆？」他丈二金剛摸不著頭腦，心想對方是媽媽的朋友嗎？但家中沒婆媳問題啊，後來才知路人指的是他戲中媽媽周丹薇。

最近，他演的「媽寶」強硬起來護老婆，他到超市買菜，有人誇他：「你硬起來了，幹得好！」還被譽為媽寶表率，他尷尬笑笑不敢說話，因為一旁有很多婆婆媽媽，他怕回話等於承認「硬不起來」。這個角色讓他演技獲肯定，他兒子蔣宗震去年６月出生，自此他事業一路旺，目前尾牙主持接了11場，進帳約130萬，讓他買了新車。他新年願望是再生個女兒。
