迎接民國103年，許多民眾一早聚集在總統府前廣場參加元旦升旗典禮，手持小國旗熱情揮舞，世新學生更換裝旗袍PK銘傳金釵。

中華民國103年「早安總統府 元旦來升旗」今（1）日清晨6時許在總統府前廣場登場，由「最美士官長」藝人劉香慈擔任主持人開場，Space Cake和睏熊霸樂團輪番上陣，炒熱氣氛。

今天氣溫明顯回溫，不少民眾從昨夜跨年晚會一路high到今晨，步行或騎U-bike到場參加升旗典禮，人手一支小國旗熱情揮舞。場邊還有世新大學廣電系畢展小組的8名正妹不畏寒冷，換上旗袍和國旗裝，PK銘傳大學親善服務隊的金釵們，非常吸睛。

緊接著登場的國防部三軍樂儀隊暨示範樂隊表演，以「地球村」為主題，結合世界各國進行曲，編排出「103」、「ROC」等隊形祝所有民眾新年快樂。

三軍儀隊還表演德國的衝鋒隊形穿插走位、英國皇家禁衛軍的30度踢腿慢行進（Slow March）隊形、荷蘭風車隊形和美國的超越巔峰隊形，24名隊員挑戰「奪命連環對拋」槍法操演，超越顛峰。

特別的是，廣場中還看到軍方派出大型的「飛指部娃娃」站崗，和民眾互動。
