駐港美國總領館只提供有限服務

美國國會未能通過臨時撥款議案，聯邦政府十七年來首度局部停止運作，美國駐港總領事館服務亦受到影響。美國駐香港總領事館說，只提供有限度服務。

美駐港國總領事館英文版網頁及官方facebook今天刊出特別通告，指常規簽證及美國公民服務維持正常，其他方面只提供有限度服務。只有直接與保護美國公民、國家安全利益和經貿有關的活動繼續。

領事館又表示，希望所有服務可盡快恢復正常，有進一步消息會在官方網頁及社交網站通知。
