高雄市建築管理處長黃志明今天表示，坍塌的建築工地近港口且地下水位高，開挖地下室工程是自強路建築工地嚴峻的考驗。

高雄市青年路、自強路口新建大樓工地接二連三坍塌，危及道路、鄰房，即使工地被勒令停工，尚未准復工，今天又疑地下連續壁滲水及附近27戶透天建築的意外。

黃志明說，工地距離高雄港不遠，早期這附近都是海埔新生地，雖然近年蓋了很多大樓，如果建商未做好萬全的地下連續壁防護工程，工地意外恐難遏止。

他說，尤其這裡地下水位高，只要地下水位持續消長波動，都可能造成地面建築的變化。他說，市府在審查業者6月份工地意外造成自強路坍塌的復工計畫都很審慎。(中央社)
