全球影壇盛事、第86屆奧斯卡頒獎典禮登場，目前最佳原創歌曲沒意外由《冰雪奇緣》的主題曲《《Let it go》》奪得，最佳女配角是由《自由之心》中的露琵塔尼詠歐獲得，最佳男配角則是由《藥命俱樂部》中的裝癖的愛滋病患傑瑞德雷托（Jared Leto）奪獎；最佳外語片由義大利片《絕美之城》（The Great Beauty）奪下，最佳動畫片則是《冰雪奇緣》奪得，而《地心引力》目前已經拿下「最佳配樂」等6個獎項，成果豐碩。
