車內煙火突引爆　炸飛駕駛一隻手

美國華盛頓州斯波坎，當地時間月初某一周六凌晨1點左右，發生一吉普車衝撞民宅草坪，61歲的屋主威爾基斯和30歲的兒子在睡夢中被嚇醒後，急忙跑出屋外查看，發現一輛發動中的吉普車撞上他家圍欄，兒子急忙前去將車子鑰匙拔下，以防止駕駛肇事逃逸，就在此時發現車內血跡斑斑，駕駛的一隻手不見了，之後在半個街道遠的地方，找到駕駛的手。
 
威爾基斯隨即通報警方和救護車，警方調查發現這名駕駛車子載有爆裂物，應是開車途中引爆，炸掉自己的手，車窗和儀表板也被炸毀，鮮血四濺，還撞上民宅，防爆小組隨後在車上發現更多爆裂物當場拆解，警方表示引發爆炸的是一種筒狀煙火，這起事件應是單獨意外，對社區安全不會造成任何威脅。（周佩萱／綜合外電報導）
