【曾雪蒨／台中報導】台中市第一台快捷巴士BRT雙節公車今天上午抵達台中市交通局局本部，超長車身與白海豚飛躍剪影的亮麗外觀停在交通局外觀引發路過行人側目。台中市交通局長林良泰指出，該局共採購18輛雙節車輛，10月初已完成2輛樣車組裝，今天其中1台中午12點整將進行道路實車測試，驗證車輛動態行車安全，並針對測試結果進行檢討改進；預計今年12月第一階段試運轉靜宜大學到東海大學段，明年3月台中火車站到靜宜大學路段全線試運轉。
 
今天抵達的第一台BRT快捷巴士外觀車身彩繪以單純清新的白海豚飛躍剪影呈現，圓弧車頭、大面積採光使車輛內部明亮寬敞，預計全車可容納120位以上乘客，座椅以藍色為主，博愛座則設計為粉紅色。
