依據道路交通管理處罰條例92條付予權利, 黃紅牌路權與行駛規定比照小型汽車適用其規定!

也就是說, 黃紅牌機車可行駛禁行機車道, 可以直接左轉(如同四輪汽車), 可以行駛快速道路, 可以行駛快速公路, 也可以行駛國三甲(台北到深坑)

大型重機為排氣量逾250cc機車, 但超過550cc機車改掛紅牌, 550以下為黃牌機車!

目前黃紅牌機車路權一模一樣, 除非政府履行立法院決議案(92條第二項), 如此黃紅牌路權就有差別!

機車專用道與機車停等區還有機車待轉區, 這部份紅黃牌都禁止使用與進入!
