Google掛牌10周年　股價漲逾13倍

據《華爾街日報》報導，Google自2004年8月19日在納斯達克交易所掛牌以來上漲逾13倍，僅獲後蘋果（Apple）等10家公司，10年複合年報酬率逾30%，遠勝於大盤S&P 500指數的6.1%。
 
Google剛掛牌時雖曾遭包含蘋果共同創辦人沃茲尼克（Steve Wozniak）在內的許多矽谷科技人唱衰，但現在來看，若你在10年前在Google掛牌時投資Google 1萬美元（30萬台幣），現在已經變為14萬美元（420萬台幣）。
 
Google雖然作為成熟公司多年，但每年仍維持穩定成長，每股銷售額自掛牌以來每年皆成長，今年第2季EPS（每股盈餘）雖僅成長5%，但其營業收入成長幅度達23%，淨利則成長6%至34.2億美元（1026億台幣）。
 
Google最近一季的營收高達160億美元（4800億台幣），其中有高達9成來自於廣告。目前Google索引的網頁超過60兆個，且這數字還在持續成長當中，2007年僅花16.5億美元（495億台幣）收購的影音播放網站YouTube，每月播放的影片長度高達60億小時。（陳冠穎／綜合外電報導）
