　　本作為以人氣動作遊戲《RESISTANCE》及《拉捷特與克拉克》（ ラチェット＆クランク）等系列知名的遊戲開發商 Insomniac Games 最新作品，是一款以殭屍為對手的開放世界型動作遊戲。遊戲以 2027 年的近未来都市「日落城」（サンセットシティ）為舞台，在擁有龐大勢力的邪惡企業開始販售一種奇怪的能量飲料之後，街上突然擁現大批變異體怪物，主角將登場使用極限運動的能力及各種武器拯救世界。
