皇家隊與潛力捕手潘尼亞簽約

【姚瑞宸／綜合報導】皇家隊今天宣布，與自由球員潘尼亞(Francisco Pena)簽下大聯盟合約並置入40人名單，以捕手皇家隊的捕手戰力。
潘尼亞是皇家隊前總教練東尼．潘尼亞(Tony Pena)的兒子，他於2002至2006年間擔任皇家總教練，戰績198勝285敗，2006年後轉任洋基教練團至今。
24歲的法蘭西斯科．潘尼亞(Francisco Pena)是大都會於2007年簽下的球員，在小聯盟7季交出打擊率2成36、40支全壘打、243分打點的成績，盜壘阻殺率3成。
