法國身障者 跳傘成功降落聖母峰頂

法國55歲、多重器官硬化的身障者柯普，27日成為第一位以高空跳傘方式降落在聖母峰上的身障者。

柯普與跳傘健將傑瓦西結伴，一起搭直升機飛到聖母峰上方1萬公尺的高度後跳下，降落在峰頂。柯普隨後被送到加德滿都的醫院內進行身體狀況檢查。他表示，「我已筋疲力竭，但非常高興。」

柯普因神經系統功能退化，使大腦無法與肢體溝通，造成多重器官硬化，肌肉萎縮，腦部及脊椎神經受損，最嚴重時病人將喪失語言及行走能力。罹病時間已超過10年。

柯普表示，準備的工作「非常痛苦」，並使他遍體鱗傷。他平時都坐輪椅，但為了登上珠峰，他這幾天每天必須騎馬數小時，才能抵達臨時機場登上直昇機，他好幾次認為自己可能無法達成宿願。

柯普總共向親友及祝福者募集了2萬6000歐元（約台幣100萬元）的經費。他表示，「我希望我的行動能夠激勵其他病友。我希望有更多人追隨我的腳步。」
