樓主，你這個句子上有文法錯誤。第一，一個句子上只能有一個主詞所以我想正確的句子應為:

Maybe an encounter is a mistake. 或者是
Maybe our encounter is a mistake. (比較符合場合上的說法)

因此第一句翻為:

會面也許是個錯誤. (可能是決定要做甚麼的時候)

第二句翻為:

我們的會晤也許是個錯誤. (這個比較常用於說剛分手後的情境) 

請樓主參考一下。
