目前HYUNDAI在印度的欽奈地區（Chennai ）已有一座汽車生產基地，目前年產約有近64萬輛的規模，除了台灣也有導入引進的i10車型之外，也生產包括Elantra、i20、EON等9款車型，其中部分車款除了僅供當地或東南亞市場需求之外，有高達6款車型同時也供應歐洲與其他等119個國家市場，例如國內亦有販售的i10便是最著名的例子。
