尋求連任的新北市長朱立倫今（19）日主持「蘆洲區永安兒童公園市民活動中心」啟用儀式時表示，選舉到了，在野黨難免會批評他不好，但他相信在年底選舉投票日過後，大家就會誇他做得好，他也會繼續做市長，與大家一起共同打拚。

朱立倫表示，選舉到了，民進黨一定會說他不好，但事實上新北市的評價愈來愈好，新北市的競爭力已躍升為第2名，市府團隊更有信心能拚到第一。

朱立倫談到自己的政績說，新北市在升格後，他把市民擔心的電塔遷走了，也廢止了垃圾轉運站，讓垃圾直運焚化爐，不僅去除了臭味，這些髒亂點更變成公園或蓋成市民活動中心。

此外，新北市積極設立公共托育中心，目前全市已有28間公托，同時設立照顧長者的公共托老中心、銀髮俱樂部等。

朱立倫表示，對於在野黨的批評，市府團隊會虛心接受；他相信在今年11月29日（選舉投票日）過後，大家就會誇他做得好，他也會繼續擔任市長，與大家一起共同打拚，努力讓新北市變成最美麗的大城市。
