李燕日前和《世間情》演員在彰化錄三立除夕特別節目《龍獅耀金馬，三火旺台灣》，她一上台，驚見彰化縣議長男友謝典霖坐第一排正中間，還和她對看，讓她尷尬極了，心裡罵：「我准你坐在那裡看我表演嗎？」她說非常不喜歡這種感覺。

兩人交往８個月，感情甜蜜，她說，當天她到彰化，男友先到後台探班，她原本不准他公開出現，他也答應只在旁邊默默地看，哪知她一上台，就看到他坐在台下，他事後解釋：「人家邀我，不好意思拒絕。」當晚氣溫驟降風大，謝典霖就坐在台下陪錄到凌晨１點半，讓她感動得不忍再怪他。
