地下絲絨主唱Lou Reed逝世 享壽71歲

Lou Reed被美國《滾石》雜誌譽為當今搖滾界首屈一指的重要影響人物之一，同時也是重量級樂團「地下絲絨」（The Velvet Underground）的主唱兼吉他手，於美國時間2013年10月27日在紐約南安普敦逝世，享年71歲。

根據《衛報》報導，Lou Reed過去曾受肝臟衰竭病痛，並在今年5月接受肝臟移植。Lou Reed的出版經紀人Andrew Wylie透露，Lou Reed因肝病於周日早晨在紐約南安普敦離世。Lou Reed的英國音樂經紀人Andy Woolliscroft於週日晚間證實此項消息，並表示心情非常難過。

地下絲絨樂隊的創始團員之一，同時也是Lou Reed多年朋友的John Cale，也為Lou Reed的離世哀悼，他說，「世界失去了一位優秀的創作者與詩人，而我也失去了我的同窗兄弟」。

據CNN報導，美國《滾石》雜誌資深編輯Simon Vozick-Levinson表示，在音樂的影響力上，能與Lou Reed相比的人物實在屈指可數。此外，Lou Reed也以過去當紅藝人都未曾做過的方式，為同性戀與跨性別者發聲，對許多人來說，他的貢獻是多麼不可置信的重要。

Lou Reed在1942年3月2日出生於紐約布魯克林，為早期搖滾先驅，1965年與鍵盤手John Cale合組地下絲絨樂團(Velvet Underground)，1965至1973年擔任樂團吉他手、詞曲創作與主唱，推出多張唱片，還曾與普普藝術大師安迪沃荷(Andy Warhol)等前衛藝術家合作。Lou Reed於1970年代改往個人發展，最為人熟悉的歌曲包括有《Perfect Day》與《Walk on the Wild Side》等。
