在研討會或是演講的場合，常常會有人忘了關手機，鈴聲大響，不但干擾聽者，也影響台上講者的思緒。

遇到這樣的情形時，通常不是台上講者，就是現場工作人員，會適時的提醒在場聽眾：「為免干擾他人，請關手機！」

在演講時，同樣希望台下聽眾關手機，台積電志工社長張淑芬說的是：「我的靈魂會跟著跑過去。」~

她演講，是沒有講稿的，而是將內容融會在腦中，因此，中途手機鈴聲突然響起，會干擾她思緒的連貫性，讓她的靈魂跟著跑過去。
