The temperature in Taipei set a new high for this year when the mercury hit 37.8 degrees at 12:15 PM Sunday.(週日中午12點15分,當溫度落在37.8度時,台北市氣溫達到今年的新高點。)
We have several high shelves for the exhibition.(我們有幾個高的架子可供展示用。) The cost of living in the capital area is pretty high.(在首都地區的生活費水平相當高。) The high crime rates here prevented people from residing.(這裡的高犯罪率使人無法定居。)
We can expect occasional showers in the north with a high of 33 in Taipei.(預計北部地區偶有陣雨,台北最高溫度33度。) The price of gold reached a twenty-year high this month.(黃金價格在本月達到了20年來的最高點。) Highs of 42 degrees were recorded in the southern part of this island.(在這個島的南部地區記錄到的最高溫達42度。)
