上戶彩在電影版《阿信》中飾演小阿信的母親，她８日在記者會上被問及「何時生自己的小阿信？演阿信的媽媽和演日劇《半澤直樹》中的花子有何不同時？」緊張地說：「對不起，腦袋裡裝滿了『自己的小阿信』，提問都忘光了！」

上戶彩還說：「阿信的媽媽知道女兒要被送去打工，立即向老公說出自己的意見，半澤花子也是個想說什麼就說什麼，從後面推老公一把的女性。日本女性總給人『要走在男人身後三步』的印象，我雖然憧憬那樣傳統的女性，但也很欣賞從背後踹老公一腳那種強勢、帥氣的女性。」

該片由上戶彩、９歲的濱田茲音及30年前演童年阿信的小林綾子主演，濱田說：「真正的我，若像阿信一樣要一個人去外面打工，可能一天就回來了！」
