【涂建豐／高雄報導】高市一名男子小傑，十三歲時因遭家人懷疑偷錢，一氣之下離家出走，分無分文、打工碰壁，但關鍵時刻總有人幫助他度過難關。他十二年後才聽從女友勸告，回家與父母團聚。

小傑常到一家「泰饌9th」泰式餐廳用餐，聽說餐廳要作待用餐，他想起十年前曾有位帶著唐氏症寶寶的婦人，看他很久沒吃飯，就請他吃便當，主動表示也要共襄盛舉，先捐三十份餐點幫助需要的民眾。

【綜合報導】一名38歲男子，昨晚於香港元朗被捕，懷疑與上周日中環發生放火燒香港《蘋果日報》案有關，以涉嫌縱火及刑恐被扣查。

上周日凌晨，三名狂徒在中環大會堂對開跳下私家車，其中一人手持牛肉刀指嚇兩名送報工人，另兩人向報紙淋潑易燃液體及點火，得手後登上同一輛私家車逃去，事件中2.6萬份香港《蘋果日報》被焚毀。

警方於7月1日凌晨，巡經灣仔港灣道一巴士站時，發現一輛掛上虛假車牌，被通輯的私家車，懷疑與中環的縱火案有關，案件交中區警區反三合會行動組跟進。

【王文傑／花蓮報導】花蓮監獄今上午在監獄內大禮堂舉辦指甲美容及腳底按摩訓練成果展，獄方開放民眾現場體驗，被按摩的民眾直呼讚。

其中一名為愛協助男友販毒入獄7年8個月34歲女子小饅頭(化名)，上月17日獲假釋出獄，她不願中斷最後10天考照機會，主動申請繼續入監受訓，最終考取二級美甲師，她開心說：「習得一技之長，出獄後自己當老闆，一定能闖出一番事業！」
