在幾個日系汽車品牌當中，MITSUBISHI由於近幾年將心力都放在電動車上，雖說在電動車的領域跑得比別人前面，但在整個環境尚未成熟的情況下，消費者的接受度並不高，而全面將重心放到電動車領域也導致傳統動力車型的產品發表速度較其他品牌落後；也許是為了改變現況，MITSUBISHI預告在今年的東京車展當中，將會一口氣展出三款不同的概念車。
