失業男向胞兄討錢不成　縱火燒屋躲在姊家開瓦斯輕生

高雄市三民區一名男子因為長期失業，平日皆靠哥哥接濟過活，但與大嫂相處不睦。最近他向哥哥要錢不成，竟然心生不滿，跑到哥哥家縱火，造成母親和大哥共一家4口分別受到輕重傷，所幸並無任何死亡。縱火的男子事後則跑到姊姊家中開瓦斯輕生，警消緊急救出，送醫急救後已恢復心跳，但目前仍昏迷中。

這起弟弟向哥哥要不到錢、竟憤而縱火的案件，發生在20日凌晨3時。涉嫌縱火的38歲陳姓男子，因為長期失業，原本與母親、胞兄、大嫂和其4歲侄子同住，但陳男因與大嫂不合，胞兄1年多前另購買一間透天厝，全家人都搬到新屋，僅剩陳男居住在父親留下的4樓公寓老家。

陳男在20日凌晨3時左右，獨自跑到胞兄的住處縱火，之後便逃離現場。胞兄家中飼養的流浪狗「阿醜」，發現火勢後隨即狂吠不止，叫醒屋主一行人，警消人員到場滅火，並救出屋主4人。根據《中國時報》報導，警消在現場發現13罐的去漬油，且附近鄰居表示，屋主幾天前曾和弟弟吵架，警方懷疑是屋主的弟弟縱火。

警方追查陳男下落，發現他躲在姊姊家中，警方破門而入，現場彌漫瓦斯味，發現他意圖開瓦斯輕生，趕緊將他送醫急救，儘管目前仍陷入昏迷，但已恢復心跳。
