喬醫師的妻子是兒童安寧病房的輔導員，卻在一次意外中喪生。歷經喪妻之痛的喬，開始照顧妻子生前最關心的病童們，不料某次一位從鬼門關被救回的病童竟聲稱在另一個世界看到了喬的妻子。 

喬也慢慢發現妻子似乎透過這些病童和他接觸，甚至傳遞訊息，而為了應證自己的第六感，他不顧生命危險試圖穿越陰陽界…
