一個不同於一般人想像的那種惡行惡狀的綁票，卻因此呈現出那種在人類社會中相對落後無奈，卻也有另一種生存方式的故事。無論是從許多小人物的刻畫到劇情的高潮起伏，還有許多民俗文化生活的幫襯，都可以預見到一部很好看又不失深度的文學改編電影。可以考慮兩岸電影工作者合力來完成這部電影，必有不壞的票房。
