卡洛琳·克里亞多佩雷斯是名女權運動人士，她的 Twitter 帳號收到大量恐嚇和辱罵，有人聲稱要強暴和殺掉她。不久後Twitter UK 確認將在網頁和 Android 客戶端增加檢舉辱罵的功能。

網際網路上什麼人都有，所幸對肇事者的追究以及積極維護討論的氛圍， Twitter 還一直保留。在英國女權運動人士卡洛琳·克里亞多佩雷斯（Caroline Criado-Perez）遭到辱罵威脅後不久，Twitter UK 確認將在網頁和 Android 客戶端增加檢舉辱罵的功能。

Change.org 上要求 Twitter 增加檢舉功能的請願募集到 65000 份簽名，Twitter UK 的決定明顯受到 Change.org 影響。雖然聲明內容和請願要求不大一樣，但還是能看出 Twitter 維護社群的決心。這是個積極的訊號。

「希望公眾能理解我們正在打破的平衡，我們將持續努力使系統運轉更好。」

在這篇  「We hear you」部落客中，Twitter 信任與安全部門高級主管 Del Harvey 寫道：

「雖然捍衛言論自由和平息仇恨言論很困難，但克里亞多佩雷斯和支持者們用韌性和堅持贏取了一場重要的勝利。他們讓 Twitter 成為不那麼讓人討厭的地方。」 

卡洛琳·克里亞多佩雷斯是名女權運動人士，前不久稱自己已經成功說服英國央行將珍·奧斯丁頭像印在新版 10 英鎊紙幣上。隨後克里亞多佩雷斯的 Twitter 帳號收到大量恐嚇和辱罵，有人聲稱要強暴和殺掉她。

7 月 28 日，21 歲肇事者被警方逮捕。

　　關於希臘、羅馬神話的神祇，不知是否有對樣貌考據的相關圖片？至少黑帝斯（Ｈａｄｅｓ）、阿波羅這兩位。有介紹跟根據，可以的話請不要丟一拖拉庫資料考驗我的雙眼。
　　或是有關於神話神祉的畫冊，不要憑空亂想的那種，大部分都有根據資料的繪畫可，也是至少要黑帝斯跟阿波羅兩位。水彩風格為佳，這點就不是那麼的強求。可以的話價錢別破五位數(跪求)，本人只是位窮學生。題外話，不一定得純希臘、羅馬神祉，但也不要整本只有一兩頁。

　　用途是我想要畫那兩隻，有要上色。所以不要給那種只有72解析度而且在電腦上看大小不比一塊杯墊大的圖好嗎?要求繁瑣、整篇冗長，能看到這的人我就先在此獻上感謝。

2009 年末，768 位的 RSA 金鑰被成功破解後，Google 將 SSL 證書的金鑰長度提高到了 1024 位元，儘管其被破解的難度要比前者高千倍，預計 10 年後才會有被破解的可能。但隨著技術進步，美國國家標準技術研究所認為目前的機制還是有被攻克的可能。

為了提高服務連接的加密強度，Google 今天宣佈該公司已開始將其所有的SSL證書升級至 2048 位元，並希望此項工作能在 2013 年年底前完成。

安全通訊端層 (SSL) 協議用於保證網頁瀏覽、電子郵件和即時消息等資料傳輸活動的通信安全。在公共網路上的兩台電腦之間傳輸資料時，由協力廠商頒發的 SSL 證書可以確認消息是否真的來自指定的人員，從而保證傳輸活動的隱私和安全。

為了防止出現問題，升級需要某些用戶端進行額外的配置。涉及到的用戶端軟體包括部分手機、印表機、機上盒、遊戲機及攝影機內建的軟體。

外交部今天表是，匈牙利國會友台小組主席艾克許（Jozsef Ekes）率國會議員團一行九人應外交部邀請，於今天至8月3日訪台。

外交部表示，艾克許停留期間，除將拜會立法院副院長洪秀柱、外交部常務次長史亞平外，並將分別接受兩人設宴款待，訪團另將拜會行政院環境保護署、教育部、經濟部、行政院大陸委員會、國立台灣大學醫學院國際事務中心、中部科學工業園區、嘉義縣政府、南投縣魚池鄉。訪賓亦將參訪故宮博物院、101大樓、龍山寺及華西街夜市、日月潭及其他文化設施。
