【蔡明樺／台北報導】日本品牌「佳麗寶」美白化妝品產品在台灣、日本造成逾6千名使用者出現皮膚白色斑塊，衛福部食藥署已將相關的19項產品下架，台大醫院雲林分院皮膚部主任邱品齊今指，佳麗寶於2011年調整配方加入「杜鵑醇」成分，以抑制黑色素生成，目前觀察約1％使用者會出現白斑，但並非先天免疫失調造成的白斑，通常停用3個月後白色斑塊就會好轉，定義為「化學性白膚症」。食藥署指，杜鵑醇並非無法替代的美白成分，下周將邀專家學者開會，不排除改列禁用。

邱品齊今在「兩岸四地美容醫學學術會議」上表示，佳麗寶事件爆發後，他共收治40多位使用後出現白色斑塊的患者，有人因臉部皮膚出現大範圍反白而丟掉工作，且患者使用佳麗寶美白產品至少都5年以上，去年底才陸續出現白色斑塊，推斷與杜鵑醇過度抑制黑色素有關。食藥署簡任技正呂理福說，杜鵑醇目前是准用的化妝品成分，但維他命C、雄果素等都具美白功效，因此專家學者的態度傾向保守，不排除將杜鵑醇改列禁用成分。
