Google 在 2012 年 4 月在台興建 Google 台灣資料中心，並在本週宣布正投入營運。台灣資料中心是亞洲最大的資料中心，Google 看準亞洲網路使用人口攀升，還一舉加碼從原先的 3 億美元提昇到 6 億美元、將興建二期廠房。同時這座資料中心也因應在地化的節能方式，較一般資料中心可減少 50% 耗能。
Google 今日宣布台灣資料中心正式投入營運。Google 在全球運營12個資料中心，其中7個位於美洲，Google在台灣和新加坡分別建設資料中心；台灣資料中心位於彰化縣彰濱工業區，佔地 15 公頃，台灣資料中心也是 Google 目前在亞洲所設置最大的資料中心。

亞洲網路使用人口佔全球上網人口五成，並以驚人速度攀升中，因此 Google 宣布將台灣資料中心長期發展計畫的總投資金額，從原先的 3 億美元提升到 6 億美元，未來將會建設第二期廠房。目前台灣資料中心已聘僱 60 位全職員工，並持續進行人才招募。

Google 全球資料諸心副總裁 Joe Kava 表示很高興 Google 位於台灣的資料中心正式啟用，也很雀躍 Google 加倍投資這座兼具效能和環保特性的資料中心。Google 資料中心比起一般資料中心減少 50% 耗能，希望 Google 台灣資料中心能位亞太區用戶提供更快速、更可靠的網路服務，享受雲端運算帶來的各種便利。
Google 台灣資料中心每項元件均由 Google 自行設計，並採用與其他 Google 資料中心不同的運作方式，透過夜間降溫和熱能儲存系統，增加資料中心的運作效率。在晚上溫度較低和電力較充裕的情況下，資料中心可有效冷卻大量的水，並使用隔離的大型容器儲存維持溫度，在日間、尤其是夏天溫度升高，和發電成本較高時，資料中心會循環使用事前已儲存的冷卻用水。
這種台灣特有的設計，將讓 Google 台彎資料中心比一般的資料中心節省 50% 的電力，而且不但因可以循環使用而節省冷卻用水，也不需排放廢水，Google 資料中心所排出的水蒸氣裡也不含化學物質。

最近接手一顆二手SEAGATE SATA碟 500G 順便重灌 本來板上有三顆 一顆WD 808 兩個 IDE 共160G(WD&SEAGATE) 問題是開機的時候只抓到舊三顆~~~ 但是新的沒顯示(我是接 SATA 6G ) 結果W7裝完變成只有讀到 808做完分割的200G(作系統) 另外讀的到500G那顆 IDE 完全掰~~ 想請問這是線接錯了，還是我應該直接全部FDISK重來一次呢?~~~ 感激不盡~~~ -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 140.116.213.209
