| 成大師生號召做環保 曾文溪口淨灘

【辛啟松／台南報導】為地球環保盡一份心力，成功大學學生動員約350人，分梯次前往曾文溪出海口，撿拾北側防風林內的廢棄物。眾人花2個多小時淨灘，才恢復沙灘應有的乾淨，撿拾的廢棄物堆成垃圾堆，蔚為奇觀，學生們也終於瞭解環保應該從生活中做起。
這次淨灘活動，除成大學生以外，也號召家齊女中、玉井希望之家中輟生及一般民眾，大夥從成大出發，先觀賞環保紀錄片《海洋塑化劑》啟發反思，宣導珍愛自然、環境保護的重要。他們走在防風林裡，花2個多小時，共撿拾保麗龍、玻璃瓶、高密度保麗龍、鞋子、塑膠袋、安全帽等廢棄物。
活動發起人、成大機械系三年級學生許博凱說，這算是成大第一次以「環境」為主題的大型服務學習活動，除了希望還給大自然一個乾淨的環境，也透過小組討論與反思，將愛護環境的理念種子植入參與同學的心中，養成不亂丟垃圾、不浪費資源的概念。

【陳偉周／基隆報導】基隆黃色小鴨入港倒數3天，基隆市警察局設立「前進指揮所」，主要在黃色小鴨展出期間，監看展區附近的治安情況，開幕當天動員300名警力，負責交通疏散、治安維護及攤販取締，例假日派出220名，平日動員160至180名警力。
基隆市警察交通隊隊長呂自喜表示，開幕當天有外縣市民眾開車來賞鴨，建議從高速公路大華系統銜接台62台甲線，通往基隆市中正路，盡量避免從大業隧道，他呼籲「搭乘大眾運輸來看鴨！」
呂自喜指出，開幕當天國道癱瘓，將在高速公路起點、基隆交流道、台62線與中正路口匝道「截流」，呂自喜說車潮預計仍然會動彈不得，「建議民眾可繞道去金山、萬里泡溫泉，不要同時間塞在國道上！」

【李銘宏／台北報導】台北市南京東路上方的建國高架道路，今天凌晨0時許，1名50多歲婦人騎著單車在高架道路路上往南行進，1名42歲湯姓駕駛疑因視線不佳，不慎追撞該名婦人，由於撞擊力道甚大，婦人從車頭滾到車尾，導致湯男轎車前後玻璃全都破裂，不料湯男下車查看狀況時，卻見另1輛轎車撞上倒地的婦人，並將婦人往前推了20公尺，該輛轎車在發現撞到人後停車，但未下車處理反而倒車疑似查看一下就向前逃離現場。
湯男下車後報警將婦人送醫，所幸婦人僅左大腿有撕裂傷及全身多處擦傷，暫時沒有生命危險，由於肇逃車輛在現場留下2件車體零件，警方將調閱監視器釐清事發原因，追查肇逃車輛。
