| 竹山與埔里都降下冰雹

【路暢平、陳方瑩/南投報導】竹山下午4點多在市區降下大量冰雹，每顆約在彈珠大小，夾雜大雨長達10多分鐘，許多民眾歡喜出來拍照或錄影，還丟上臉書分享，直呼這情況太罕見了。
竹山鎮民林芳仕表示，冰雹降下前，先在南邊草嶺方向看到一大片烏雲，沒多久市區就暗了下來，當時正在忙工作，天花板叮叮噹噹響著，他跑出來看才發現下了冰雹，太太拿起雨傘，在雨中跳起舞來。
下午5時20分，埔里地區因對流雲旺盛，一時昏天暗地下起大雷陣雨，雨中夾帶直徑超過1公分的冰雹，許多民眾興奮莫名，紛拍照錄影po網，雨勢持續近30分鐘，隨即天空又放晴出太陽。

| 超過了學習的年紀，如何一圓棒球夢

我現在年紀26歲
加過壘球隊、但沒加過棒球隊，甚至沒有過棒球比賽
我的棒壘過程完全是自我學習的，
目前在大魯閣可以打到140km
當然我知道打得到的人多到一個爆炸，
但我把他當成一種激勵
(在沒有任何人教、沒有基礎的情況下可以這樣，那如果有人教學會不會更好？)
我也知道以這樣的年齡這樣的資歷基本上不太可能走職棒路
但也總有余書農、羅國禎等人的例子
因此，我想要趁現在離職上一份工作時，
重新投入棒球，往自己的夢想奮鬥
想重新練習、接觸、訓練
但我不知從何起手
想說先加入純粹興趣性質的社會隊再慢慢成長
但不想走錯方向、繼續浪費時間，
希望大家能給我建議
ps：我希望大家能從"往棒球路"的方向給我建議，不要叫我放棄
我這一頭栽下去，如果失敗後要承擔的是什麼，這些我都知道。

【綜合報導】東京上野動物園，5月傳出大貓熊真真，可能有喜，出現妊娠徵兆，像是食欲不振、荷爾蒙數據變化，動物園為了安全起見，從6月4日起便暫停讓牠外出見客。
不過到目前為止，真真都沒有再出現任何明顯變化，園方懷疑可能是假性懷孕，決定讓真真今天重新「復出」，不過還是會24小時觀察牠的狀況。

【綜合報導】香港七一大遊行在惡劣天氣下完成，主辦單位估計有43萬人，不畏風雨「進擊梁振英」，要求立即普選。
由於人數太多，遊行隊伍末尾直到晚間8時才抵達終點。主辦單位表示，遊行民眾兩度填滿維園，堪稱「前所未有」。警方估計遊行人數約6.6萬人。
不過特首梁振英，昨晚仍然拒絕承諾立即展開政改諮詢，反要求社會繼續包容。

| 重返海祭！蘇打綠帶領歌迷大聲開唱

2013年第14回「新北市貢寮國際海洋音樂祭」即將在7月10至14日登場，國內最受歡迎的搖滾天團「蘇打綠」今年也將重返海祭主舞臺，帶領歌迷一起回娘家大聲開唱！新北市副市長李四川認為，海祭是年輕音樂人圓夢的舞台，蘇打綠10年前從海祭小舞台脫穎而出，一路唱進小巨蛋成為天團，已成為海祭大賞的最佳典範。
新北市政府觀光旅遊局長陳國君表示，今年海祭有許多創舉，包括首支微電影、「五月天」、「蘇打綠」2大天團力挺海祭獻聲外，更藉由與全球知名科技產業Google+以及YouTube的直播合作，讓海祭能夠發聲到全世界，與全世界的人分享台灣的音樂，海祭已不再只是台灣人的音樂節，更是地球村的音樂節；此外，為了服務沒辦法到現場參與的民眾，也與超視合作於活動隔日下午3到5點推出海祭精華的特輯。
曾經也是「熱浪小舞臺」一員的蘇打綠，在面臨瓶頸與解散危機的低潮，仍然堅持不懈，不但在2003年的熱浪小舞臺遇上伯樂－音樂製作人「林暐哲」，更在2004年決賽一戰成名拿下「評審團大獎」成功圓夢，堪稱海洋音樂祭堅持搖滾熱血精神的最佳代言人；而2013年正好是蘇打綠在海祭「熱浪小舞臺」初登場的第10年，乘風破「浪」後縱橫華語樂壇的他們，對於能重返海祭主舞臺更表示興奮不已！
蘇打綠以過來人的身分建議參賽樂團不要為了比賽而比賽，重要的是藉由海祭這個很多人參與的活動，讓更多人聽見自己的創作與音樂，讓大家看見自己對音樂的熱情與堅持；同時，主辦單位也舉辦「尋找2003蘇打綠」的網路活動，只要將2003年蘇打綠在熱浪小舞臺的照片上傳至2013貢寮國際海洋音樂祭Google+，就有機會在7/14《衝吧!我的海祭》當晚，在後臺與蘇打綠近距離接觸，拿到他們親筆簽名CD乙份。
為了讓喜愛海洋音樂祭的朋友，能夠提前感受夏日貢寮海灘的熱血與歡樂氛圍，今年更創新推出社群網路的電玩遊戲「勇闖海祭Rock Game」，融合復古翻紅的紅白機(PIXEL GAME)設計，並以福隆沙灘與海水為背景，不同關卡展現出海洋音樂祭白日碧海藍天與夜晚華麗絢爛的獨特風情，邀請大家一起上線體驗這個復古又好玩的遊戲。
