【大紀元2013年07月03日訊】（大紀元記者蘇子清綜合報導）7月1日（週一），Mozilla在西班牙正式發佈了一款搭載了Firefox OS系統的廉價智能手機: ZTE Open。另一款手機Alcatel One Touch Fire 目前尚未公佈首發國家。隨著這兩款手機在拉美、歐洲部份地區和亞洲相繼上市，Android或許會面臨另一家公司試圖在低端智能手機市場與自己分一杯羹的局面。

西班牙電信公司Telefonica 成為首批出售搭載 Firefox OS 系統智能手機的電信運營商，他們從7月2日起將以 90 美元（約69歐元）的的預付費訂購形式，或是每月3.1美元（2.38歐元）、為期兩年的合約方式在西班牙出售ZTE Open手機。

ZTE Open這款手機採用的配置和其他智能手機比起來相當簡單：3.5英吋觸摸屏、256M內存、320萬象素後置攝像頭（無前置攝像頭）、FM收音機，GPS，1200mAh電池等。

不過火狐手機的賣點在於火狐操作系統中的重要動態搜索功能，它完全改變了用戶發起搜索動作時的app網格形式，搜索結果將以全新的HTML5應用系列形式進行展示，而不是谷歌搜索所給出的由文字和鏈接構成的列表。

至於另一款Alcatel One Touch Fire手機的配置和ZTE Open幾乎完全相同。但One Touch Fire採用了高通MSM7227A處理器，1400mAh電池，共有3種顏色選擇：Mozilla橙，蘋果綠和純白。

目前Mozilla還沒有公佈將手機向北美推廣的計劃。Mozilla瞄準的是還有很大市場潛力的西班牙，波蘭，哥倫比亞，委內瑞拉，巴西等國家，在這些國家蘋果的智能手機可能對於民眾來說還太昂貴，而且許多民眾都還在使用功能手機（feature phone）。Mozilla指出，來自風投基金凱鵬華盈的數據顯示，全球手機用戶中，僅有21%的人使用智能手機。

火狐工作人員Chris Lee表示：「這可能是當地許多用戶買入的第一款智能手機。」

Mozilla 的聯合創始人兼首席技術官Brendan Eich 稱，Firefox OS 針對的並不是高端智能手機市場，也無意與蘋果和 Google 對抗。Eich 認為 Firefox OS 能夠為他們打開低端市場。Firefox OS 的競爭對手主要是功能機，這類消費者對價格更為敏感，通常並不太在乎用戶體驗。

Mozilla成功吸引到越來越多的運營商，來出售搭載其基於網頁的操作系統的手機，以作為更高端的Android手機和蘋果手機的補充。這些運營商也正看好發展中國家的市場，智能手機銷量增長速度在那裏快於美國和西歐等地區。
